BACKGROUND

ALLAH created us for His lbadat (worship). It is our duty to follow His orders and decrees; however, we ignore His orders or decrees - fruitful for us- and chase only materialistic welfare ignoring spiritual urges of personality. The said attitude creates unrest in psychological outlook of our personality. It leads us towards unjust attitude in all spheres of individual and collective life. Consequently, it develops turmoil in our social setup, instability in our economic structure, chaos in our political fabric, and degeneration in our cultural outlook. The ultimate outcome of the process is continuous and gradual decline / destruction of civilization.
Allah sent His prophets and continuously sending His Aowliya / Ulma-e-Raskheen (saints) for the guidance of His beautiful creation, man & woman - actually materialistic but potentially spiritual. The basic aim of all prophets and saints is to equip us with faith, knowledge, wisdom and to improve our manners / character. It is best for us to follow their footsteps in order to make our life satisfactory and prosperous.
Al-Kitab Trust is established to equip us with faith, knowledge, wisdom, and best manners (Adab). The areas of our concerns are:
� Tassawuf (Islamic Spiritual Science);
� Education (Literacy & Quality Education);
� Sustainable Social, Economic and Political Environment
In order to achieve aforesaid program, we want to develop / support institutions of relevant fields and to develop a highly trained Muslim Human Capital in Pakistan and abroad. The aim is to fight against materialism, ignorance, poverty, and injustice.
